Managing director Chris Carter picked up the Entrepreneurial Award at the University of Wolverhampton’s Alumni Awards on November 7th in recognition of his success growing VOiD Applications since he established the business in 2012 with cofounder and marketing director Neil Cooper.
The Alumni Awards celebrate the incredible achievements and careers of University of Wolverhampton alumni and dedicated volunteers.
Chris Carter said: “I am so proud to win this award for entrepreneurship. The University of Wolverhampton was key in helping us start VOiD Applications, and 12 years later we’re still here. Thank you to everyone who has helped us along the way and worked with us.”
Two weeks later, VOiD was highly commended in the Consultancy & Professional Services and Small Business of the Year categories at the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, following on from the award win at the event last year in the ‘Excellence in Professional Services’ category.
The awards, which took place at University of Wolverhampton at The Halls on November 21st, celebrated the achievements of the region’s business community.
