A Journey of Innovation and Impact
Chris’s journey from a university graduate to a successful entrepreneur has been marked by a relentless drive to innovate and a deep commitment to delivering value. Since founding VOiD Applications in 2012 alongside business partner and school friend Neil Cooper, he has led the company in developing cutting-edge applications that empower businesses to operate more efficiently and strategically. His entrepreneurial spirit and ability to adapt to market changes have not only contributed to the company’s success but also made a significant impact on the broader business community.
The nomination for the Entrepreneurial Award is a reflection of Chris’s ability to inspire others through his business acumen, resilience, and unwavering passion for technology and innovation.
Recognition Among the Best
Being named a finalist for this award is an incredible honour, particularly in a category that recognises entrepreneurial excellence and innovation. The Wolverhampton University Alumni Awards celebrate the achievements of the university’s graduates who have made significant contributions in their fields and communities. To be recognised alongside other exceptional alumni is a remarkable achievement and one that reflects Chris’s impact as a leader and visionary.
Chris shared his thoughts on reaching the finalist stage: “I’m deeply honoured to be recognised by Wolverhampton University, a place that played a pivotal role in shaping my career and enabled me to start my entrepreneurial journey. This nomination is a testament to the hard work of the entire team at VOiD and to those over the years who have believed in our vision.
“I hope this recognition can inspire others to pursue their passions and create lasting impacts through innovation and entrepreneurship so they too can take control of their own futures like we’ve been able to do for ourselves.”
Looking Ahead
The winner of the Entrepreneurial Award will be announced at the Wolverhampton University Alumni Awards ceremony taking place on the 7th November 2023, which promises to be a memorable evening celebrating the achievements and contributions of the university’s alumni.
It’s the third annual Alumni Awards ceremony to be held, that recognises the incredible achievements and careers of University of Wolverhampton alumni and its dedicated volunteers.
Regardless of the outcome, this recognition serves as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved with dedication, innovation, and a passion for making a difference.
Good luck Chris!
